AI desktop ecosystem
Webie strengthens the way people already work by bringing different tools and AI capabilities into one organised desktop environment.

Instead of imposing a new closed workflow, Webie builds around the user’s tools and habits. It is developed by Kyriakos Katsaras under the IDBS umbrella, with IDBS supporting its evolution and future market presence.
How the flow connects
Core capabilities
Applications, windows, files and shortcuts are organised around each project.
Chat, images, code and creative tools operate inside the same environment.
An extensible architecture supports tools designed for specific needs.
Profiles, permissions and local capabilities give the user clearer control.
Inside the environment
Webie Browser
Webie Browser is being developed as a standalone space for browsing, organization and privacy, shaped around the way people work. It can run on its own or connect to Webie Hub when the user chooses.

Planned license: Apache License 2.0WEL / The Webie language
WEL is a new programming language being developed specifically for Webie. Its aim is to let people and the AI Bot create automations in the same environment, from simple daily actions to more complex flows.
From idea to execution
The language is designed so new users can express the actions they want clearly.
Advanced capabilities provide room to compose more sophisticated automations.
WEL is being developed with a dedicated compiler within the Webie architecture.
Users can write their own flows, while the AI Bot is designed to help create them.
The starting point
AI work is often spread across separate tabs, applications, files and environments. Webie creates a shared space where information and tools stay close to the project they support.
People continue using a familiar working style with an additional layer of organisation and connection.
The ecosystem
The Hub connects tools such as Webie Chat, Image Studio, AI Code Editor, AI SQL Studio, File Explorer, Terminal and Webie Browser. The direction of Flow Studio and the Webie Language is to build controlled, inspectable workflows.
Capabilities are expanding progressively while the product remains in active development.
The IDBS approach
Webie reflects the same approach IDBS applies to client work: understand the workflow first, then design the tool. The architecture stays extensible so new applications and custom tools can be added without losing the coherence of the workspace.
